Ottoman Turkey, late 19th century and Northern India, early 19th century
Each of pyriform shape, rising to a tapering, bulbous neck and resting on a short, splayed, circular foot, the Turkish example made of clear glass and decorated with cut and gilt floral motifs around the body and neck, the Indian example made of purple glass and plain, both sprinklers fitted with flower-collared silver mounts at the top, the tallest 23.5cm high.
