A CHINESE EXPORT FAMILLE ROSE MATCHED WRITING SET.
Qing Dynasty, 19th Century.
Comprising: a rectangular ink well with circular liner, the four sides decorated with butterflies and flowers, a similarly sized brush rest with sides bearing a finely painted continuous garden scene of four figures, the top set with a series of holes over a concave surface, both resting within a fitted rectangular tray, the raised rim decorated with a floral border beneath a gilt rim, 6cm H, 13.6cm long.
