A pair of Victorian sterling silver wine coasters, London 1849 by messrs Barnard

Each of rounded circular form upon a moulded foot rim. Each with a turned mahogany base, inset to the centre with a circular boss engraved with a crest of a falcon’s head erased. The side with pierced decoration of scroll below a cast fruiting vine and scroll rim. Each fully marked to the foot rim edge and part-marked to the boss. (2)

Diameter – 15.9 cm / 6.25 inches
