A CHINESE JADEITE CARVING OF AN ELEPHANT AND PAGODA.

Carved in three pieces, the standing pachyderm bearing a two-story octagonal pagoda with reticulated walls and fences, the sloping roof with a tapered finial surmounted by a small figure of Buddha, the stone of pale green colour with black and russet inclusions, together with a wood stand, 36.5cm H. (4)
