An Edward VIII sterling silver and guilloche enamel turquoise set art deco compact, Birmingham 1936 by Albert Carter
Of square form with a chamfered edges, the lid with engine decoration topped with translucent white enamel, edged with turquoise enamel. The front corned with a claw mounted carved turquoise applique. Engine turned base, the interior with a mirror. Fully marked to interior.
