Arabic manuscript on paper, comprising Juz 12: Sura Hud (11), aya 6 to Sura Yusuf (12), aya 52, 57ff., plus two flyleaves, each folio with 5ll. of crisp sini script in black, the opening bifolio with gold and polychrome quasi-geometric illumination, the final bifolio with brightly coloured Central Asian motifs in the borders, chapter headings in gold, diacritics in black and red, gold roundel verse markers, catchwords, within red rules, with indigo blue cotton endpaper, in blind-tooled dark brown flapped binding, the text panel 19cm x 13.8cm, the folio 29cm x 21.2cm; and another Quranic section, also Juz 12, 31ff., each double folio pasted back-to-back, the half Juz marked in stylised tree motif in the margin, in paper binding, the text panel 17.7cm x 12cm, the folio 23.7cm x 17.3cm.
