A LARGE BISQUE PORCELAIN BUST OF LORD BYRON England, c.1833-1847, maker Copeland & Garret, late Spode A three-quarter length bust of Lord Byron, portraying the poet wearing a shirt open at the neck, a waistcoat and overcoat, his hair styled into classical curls, the back of the bust inscribed 'BYRON' in capital letters and a manufacturer's mark for 'Copeland & Garret, Late Spode', the stand cylindrical and wider at the bottom, hollow, bearing a manifacturer's mark 'Copeland & Garret, Felspar Porcelaine, Late Spode' and the inventory number '978' written in pencil, 35cm high.
