Of typical rectangular shape, resting on a flat base, the exterior plain and possibly a later refurbishment, the front slope opening forward revealing an interior clad in marquetry work in the typical Mudejar style with taracea granadina, comprising inlays of tesserae of stained bone, coloured wood, and silver arranged in geometric patterns like six and eight-pointed stars, and diamond-shaped latticework, on the lower corners two square panels decorated with the Nasrid shield and their motto Wa-la Ghalib Illa Allah in pseudo-calligraphy, the interior divided into a total of sixteen drawers of different sizes, most of them with a later-added brass handle in the shape of a flowering vase, 56.5cm x 99cm x 37cm.
