AN EGYPTIAN BRONZE FIGURE OF SEKHMET Late Period, Circa 664 - 332 B.C. The lion-headed goddess is depicted wearing a close-fitting long dress, a tripartite wig, and a sun disc headdress with a frontal uraeus, the details of the mane and facial features finely incised, she stands on an integral base with a central tang, with her long arms held straight at her sides, 14.6cm high.
