A cased Victorian sterling silver 'castle top' card case, Birmingham 1842 by Joseph Willmore
Of rectangular form with rounded edges, each side with an embossed cartouche one side with a view St Paul’s Cathedral in a circular cartouche, the obverse with a view of Windsor castle showing the Round Tower. All reserved with floral bouquets, including convolvulus, strawberries, roses, and pansies. Fully marked to the base flange. Housed in a leatherette case, branded for J.J Durrant Goldsmiths and Jewellers 126 & 40 Cheapside, London.
