An early 20th century Chinese export silver small desk tray, Shanghai circa 1920, marked Shan Ji, retailed by Wang Hing
Republic period. Of rectangular form with a pierced and flat chased galleried edge of bamboo, all raised upon four bracket feet. The field with flat chased decoration of a Chinese dragon amidst clouds chasing the flaming sacred pearl. Marked underneath with artisan mark 善記 (SHAN JI, the workshop of Shan), numeral 90, and artisan mark WH.
