A Queen Anne unmarked silver mounted tortoiseshell medal set snuff box, probably circa 1702

Of oval form with a stand away hinge. The tortoiseshell lid with an applied uniface silver oval portrait medallion, by or after Jean Obrisset (c.1680-1731), unsigned, crowned and armoured bust of Queen Anne, wearing Collar and George of the Order of the Garter, stippled background, set within a chased border. Gilt interior.
