A George V 9 carat gold cigarette case, Birmingham 1925 by William Neale and Son

Of rectangular form with engine turned decoration. The hinged lid with a push button release. The interior with initials M.S.L. Fully and part marked. Bearing stamp for London Cartier. Housed in a Cartier box.

Initials are for Maurice Stanley Lush (1896-1990), CB, CBE, MC and Bar, he married Diana Hill on 26 June 1930. Thence by descent.
