A George III sterling silver vinaigrette, Birmingham 1804 by Samuel Pemberton
Of curved oblong form, the hinged lid raised by simple thumbpieces. The lid engraved with a band of ‘Greek Key’ or meander scroll, the underside with the same, the edges with wriggle bands. The gilt interior with a hinged filigree grill with a heart shaped scroll. Fully marked to base, the lid and grill unmarked.
