Ackerley (?) formerly filled at Lisbon" and therefore writes to simply acknowledge his correspondent's letter, also adding that he has no means of acting upon it, light toning affecting upper left part of letter, minor traces of former mounting to verso, one page, 4to, Foreign Office, 1st June 1824, and other note from Canning (2)
