A COPPER SKIMMING SPOON WITH PIERCED HEAD
Possibly Armenia, Ottoman Western Provinces, 18th - 19th century
Of typical shape, with a large rounded head pierced with a six-pointed star design in the centre, a long handle with a rectangular cartouche inscribed in Western Armenian characters, and a circular hoop at the top, 52cm long.
