AN EGYPTIAN ALABASTER JUG New Kingdom, Circa 1550 - 1069 B.C. Standing on a small ring foot, the vessel has a spherical body, with a cylindrical neck surmounted by a flat disc rim, and a strap handle, 13cm high.  Published: Charles Ede, Catalogue 160, no.42 1995. Provenance: With Harmarkhis gallery; Private collection of a lady, Rome, acquired on the Belgian market.
