Opaque pigments, ink, white wash, pencil and occasionally gold on paper and buff cardboard, a very heterogeneous and mixed group of Indo-Persian drawings, paintings and loose manuscript folios, comprising Safavid-revival drinking and inebriated couples; bird studies; Mughal-revival encampment scenes; and portraits of rulers and heroes, the largest 41cm x 33.5cm, the smallest 21cm x 15.4cm.
