The shaded soft rasperry-red field with overall design of of bold multicoloured floral and arabesque medallions, together with floral and leafy spray. In an indigo border of serrated palmettes, arabesques and floral meander between light blue and ivory flowering vine and arabesque stripes. Outer plain stripe, approx: 413cm. x 304cm. Good type with unusual overall design. The field colour has slight fading in a few places. Tiny moth damage to the top pile on the edge of one side. Selvages original. Ends with fringes. Very slight fraying in one corner. This carpet has a good pile and in general is in very good usable condition. The small imperfections reflect the estimate. Good furnishing carpet.
