A JAPANESE CLOISONNÉ CANE HANDLE.

Attributed to Namikawa Yasuyuki workshop, Meiji period.

Worked in gold, silver wire and enamels, decorated with flower medallions and butterflies scattered over vertical bands of a speckle ground, the rounded top with phoenix surrounded by shield-shaped panels enclosing stylised flowers, 8cm H.
