A TIBETAN BRONZE RITUAL STAFF, KHATVANGA.

Tibet, 19th Century.

Cast as a large stylised skull with long fangs exhaling flames, with a tall finial formed as a three-pointed spear and a long tapered handle with floral scroll bands terminating with a four-pronged vajra, 56cm long, 2.1kg.
