Each boy cast standing, wearing a robe intricately incised with a fierce-looking dragon, with hair gathered in two buns, balancing a large vase above his head with a cover surmounted by a shishi lion, supported on rectangular stands carved around the rounded edges with stylised waves and raised on four short feet, each with a Mori Shumei signature within a rectangular cartouche, 44cm H.
