A George III sterling silver goblet, London 1799 by James and Elizabeth Bland

Rounded circular form upon a pedestal foot with square base. Bright cut engraved decoration of a band of trailing of rosettes and nettle leaves above an oval cartouche within a crossed floral wreath, engraved with contemporaneous initials GBI in flourished cursive script. The base with bright cut bands. Gilt interior. Fully marked to base edge.
