AN EGYPTIAN BRONZE CROCODILE Late Period, Circa 664 - 332 B.C. Possibly a representation of the god Sobek, with naturalistic detail, the crocodile rests atop an integral shrine-shaped base, with the head slightly upraised, 5cm high. Provenance: Private collection of a lady, Rome.
