A George III Scottish sterling silver coffee pot, Edinburgh 1807 by George Mchattie

Of tapering fluted elongated hexagonal form upon a pedestal elongated hexagonal foot with fluted and incurved sides. The panelled spout opposite a wooden C scroll handle pinned to panelled sockets. The domed panelled hinged lid surmounted by a detachable stained ivory fluted oval finial.

Fully marked underneath, the lid with standard mark thistle only.
