A George III sterling silver teapot, London 1810 by Stephen Adams
of ogee bellied rectangular form with a fluted band all raised upon four ball feet. The curved panel section spout opposite a leaf capped D section handle fitted with ivory insulators. The hinged double domed lid with a fluted section surmounted by a detachable fluted finial. Each side engraved with traces of a crest, probably in front of a sun rising two arms embowed in armour. Fully marked underneath and part-marked to lid.
