NOTES: Mark Rochester graduated from Central School of Art and has worked for over 30 years as a textile designer. His work has been used for home furnishing and wallpapers by several UK based and international companies including Colefax & Fowler, GP & J Baker, Brunschwig & Fils (New York), Osborne & Little and Sanderson. His furnishing fabrics are also exhibited at the V&A.
Rochester's passion has always been to paint and to sketch and recently after moving back to North Devon, inspired by the local landscape, he started to paint 'en plein air'. His most famous acrylic paintings represent Devon's sceneries and nature.
