AN EXTREMELY FINE SILK QUM RUG, CENTRAL PERSIA approx: 5ft. x 3ft.4in.(152cm. x 102cm.) The field with polychrome floral sprays  and birds around shaped floral medallion with pendants. All surrounded by flowering plants and birds between floral and reciprocal stripes. This rug has full pile and is in very good condition throughout . Ends and selvages are original. Extremely fine weave, approx: 10 x 10 knots per sq. cm. Elegant and very nice example for this type. Mid-second half 20th century
