AN EGYPTIAN BRONZE SNAKE AMULET  Late Period, 26th Dynasty, Circa 664 - 525 B.C. Possibly a depiction of the god Nehebkau, the slender body terminates in a snake's head, with two arms extended, holding a disc depicting a little egret, 4.3cm high. Provenance: Private collection Rome, acquired on the London art market in 1995.
