A mid-18th century George II unmarked gold mounted agate snuff box, circa 1750
Of cartouche form, the sides with chased decoration of scallop shells, floral sprays, all reserved with a stippled ground. The hinged lid raised by a simple thumbpiece. The agate sections with carved ribbed surface to the lid. Together with a small pair of gilt metal tweezers.
