Of elongated rectangular shape, twill tapestry-woven in brightly coloured wools with sweeping elongated butis, the intersections forming elaborate palmettes framing a central black square invaded by stylised floral motifs, the narrow outer border woven with double waves and stars predominantly in green, the shorter horizontal sides edged with embroidered harlequin borders, 328cm x 148cm.
