A George III provincial sterling silver teapot, Newcastle circa 1810 by Dorothy Langlands (active 1804-1814)
of rounded ogee form raised upon four ball feet, the curved panel section spout opposite a D section handle fitted with ivory insulators pinned to sockets. The hinged domed lid surmounted by detachable silver finial. Later chased decoration of foliate scrolls, and C scrolls, vacant cartouches. Marked underneath, no date letter, lid unmarked.
