A Victorian sterling silver gilt ruby glass double scent bottle, London 1866 by Sampson Mordan

the end caps, one hinged and the other screw thread fitted, with engraved decoration of foliate scrolls and strapwork, the screw cap with an engraved crest of a demi lion rampant holding a battle axe ducally crowned, the hinged cap with initials in cypher SLC in gothic script. Fully marked.

Length – 14.3 cm / 5.6 inches
