Eastman (Linda) Three autograph letters signed ('Linda') addressed to the vendor, one reading "I quit my job at Town & Country magazine to become a freelance photographer - I'm doing very well - sell mainly to teen magazines 'cause most of my subjetcs are Rock 'n roll groups - it's so groovy - have photographed many English groups [...] The Stones were my favourite, went out with Mick Jagger, he's really a terrific person, much to my surprise. Hullabaloo magazine wants to send me to London to photograph and write articles for them [...] Some very good friends of mine were just taken back to London by Brian Epstein who plans to personally manage them (first group since the Beatles) [...] The group is called Lomax Alliance", two pages, 8 November 1966; a second letter is written on the verso of a photocopy of a magazine article reporting "They say Beatle Paul McCartney's latest favorite femme is Linda Eastman, a Yankee Doodle fan-mag fotogga..." and it reads "Thought you'd get a bit laugh over the enclosed clipping. Have no idea where they picked up that lie, but it just shows how truthful  newspapers are", one page, 6 December 1966. In the last letter Linda confirms her intention to go to London and updates the recipients on her work "I am photographing a huge Easter show her for Murray The K - 9 days, four shows a day and a TV special- listen to the line up: Wilson Pickett, The Miracles, Mitch Ryder, The Who, Ike & Tina Turner, P.J. Proby etc", four pages, 7 February 1967; some creasing and handling wear, folding marks, v.s., all in original mailing envelopes (3) ***Provenance: Linda Eastman and the vendor with whom she would stay when she came to London,  became good friends when she started dating Del Henney. Henney and the vendor were at RADA together in 1965 and did the RADA tour of Arizona called 'Shakespeare in the Desert' touring the Universities of Tucson and Phoenix where they met Linda who was doing a Photography course.  Del Henney was from Liverpool and according to the vendor, Linda fell in love with his accent!
