A George IV sterling silver four-piece tea and coffee service, London 1826 by Joseph Angell I (first reg. 7th Oct 1811, this mark 8th April 1824)

Comprising a teapot, a coffee pot, a milk jug, and a twin handled sugar bowl. Each of ogee fluted circular form raised upon four cast scallop shell and acanthus bracket feet. Each with an applied rocaille and flower head with C scroll rim. The pots with acanthus capped spouts opposite an acanthus capped C scroll handles fitted with ivory insulators pinned to acanthus socket, leading to hinged domed lids surmounted by acanthus finials upon a leafy calyx. The sugar and milk with gilt interiors. Each fully marked and part-marked to the lids, finials unmarked. (4)
