A George III sterling silver cream pail, London 1768 by Charles Clark (first reg. 12th Sep 1758)
Of cylindrical form with coopered sides, with single upright handle with scrolling ‘onslow’ terminal. With later initials W.F-S underneath. Together with an unmarked George II / George III silver cream ladle, twisted stem with a scalloped edge bowl. Fully marked underneath.
Height – 7.5 cm / 3 inches
Weight – 91 grams / 2.93 ozt
