An group of cabinet cards, c. 1870s -1880s, (20) with some unusual subjects including a clown, a boxing duo, a croquet player, a skeleton, and Miss MW Leitch with a group of Indian girls; photographers include Vernon Heath, Hills & Saunders, Park Iowa, Schemboche, WH Pugh, Broderick's Copyright Series, Tuttle & Johnson, G. Lassave, John Burrlay, Barry, Vianelli, Heawood & Co, Albert Payne, Richard Stringa, and others. Together with a group of mixed cartes-de-visite (11), including a portrait of Lord Napier of Magdala by John Watkins, and two by Claudet; other photographers include Bulch, W. Cox, W. Keith, John & Charles Watkins, CH Reutlinger, and two handmade cartes, one depicting a Finnish nun.

Together with a large, handpainted salt print portrait of a woman, reading a letter, mounted board, measuring 425 x 325mm.
