PANORAMA OF ISTANBUL, 1888. Albumen print panorama in five joined parts, mounted on linen and period card, overall measuring 250 x 1680 mm, card measuring 300 x 390 mm.
The central panel of this view, though unsigned in the negative, aligns with Exterior view of the Süleymaniye Camii (mosque), showing the Golden Horn in background, which is held by the Library of Congress, Washington, DC, ref. 13554-2, no. 84. Note that the print within the Library of Congress appears to have further boats painted into the negative.
