A late 19th century Chinese export unmarked silver filigree card case, Canton circa 1870
Qing dynasty. Of rectangular form with a pull off lid, one side with applied fruiting vine in bead work and filigree, the other with flowering prunus each against a woven ground, edged with trailing foliate forms. The top of lid with a vacant rectangular cartouche to canted corners.
