A Queen Anne Britannia standard silver porringer, London 1713 by Nathaniel Lock, additionally struck AR crowned

Of circular form with a rounded base with applied C scroll handles with ribbed section. The body with embossed half-fluting to the base and a vacant oval cartouche with foliate scroll surround, the upper section with an embossed corded band. Decorative punch work borders throughout. Partial engraved initials underneath IW in Roman script. Fully marked to the side of the handle, additionally marked to the other side with a mark AR crowned (offical measure mark).
