A TERRACOTTA FIGURE OF A COCKEREL Circa 2nd - 4th Century A.D. Hollow, the cockerel is naturalistically carved, with individually moulded feathers on the body and on his upraised tail, with a slender neck, pointed beak and tall crest with linear incisions indicating tall feathers, 14.5cm high, Provenance: London private collection acquired between 1979 and 1983.
