A pair of George III sterling silver salts, London 1791 by William Fountain & Daniel Pontifex (reg. 29^th July 1791)

Of navette form with scroll terminals, on a rectangular pedestal base with reeded rims. The body with scalloped half-fluting, the side engraved with contemporaneous initials TJC in flourished cursive script. Each fully marked underneath. (2)
