A Victorian sterling silver sugar basket, London 1871 by Henry Holland

Of oval navette form upon a pedestal foot with beaded rims, an opposable swing beaded handle. The body with bright cut engraved decoration of ribbon tied laurel swags with vacant circular cartouches to either side. Gilt interior. Fully marked underneath and part-marked to the handle.
