A Victorian sterling silver sugar basket, London 1846 by messrs Barnards
Of everted cylindrical form upon four die stamped rocaille feet. The wire work body with die stamped and applied decoration of leafy oak branches with acorns, the rim and opposable swing handle formed as floral C scrolls. Fitted with a later George V silver liner, London 1914 by Charles Boyton and Sons. Fully marked underneath, to liner, and part-marked to handle.
