Arabic manuscript on paper, 410ff. plus seven fly-leaves, 12ll. of black ink naskh script to the page, with gold and black circular verse markers, sura headings in red thuluth script reserved against bright yellow cloud-bands, the margins with annotations in red naskh script, and embellished with gold and polychrome illuminated medallions, catchwords, the opening and final bifolios with gold and polychrome illuminated borders, three illuminated bifolios, set within concentric yellow, gold, red, and blue rules, in brown morocco binding, the text panel 22.3cm x 11.7cm, the folio 33cm x 21.5cm.
