The machine-joined tricolour panels of cotton featuring deep colours and large proportions indicative of a late dating, the white centre finely printed with the Shir o Khorshid (the Lion and the Sun) emblem in manganese purple, the sun’s face in yellow, facial highlights in black, the flagpole to the left, 90cm x 152cm.
