A SILVER AND GOLD-DAMASCENED STEEL FRUIT DAGGER

With a sharp single-edged steel blade inlaid with gold Arabic calligraphy, the handle and scabbard made of engraved silver, chased in high relief with floral and foliate motifs, with a raised floral medallion on the tip of the handle and a rounded pommel on the tip of the scabbard, the decoration reminiscent in style of Ottoman Balkan yataghan scabbards, with two small belt hoops on the side, 25cm long including the scabbard, 125gr.
