THREE CHINESE COPPER RED-GLAZED SCHOLAR'S DESK ITEMS.
Qing Dynasty.
Comprising: a zhadou with a globular body and a high trumpet neck, covered in a cranberry coloured glaze, the interior and base glazed white, with an underglaze blue six character Daoguang mark to the base and of the period; a jar with a waisted body, wide shoulders and a narrow neck with an everted rim, covered with a deep red glaze draining to a pale celadon tone to the neck, base and across the body; and a circular box and cover with a maroon glaze with speckles of white, the interior and base white, the base with a six character Qianlong mark, 9cm diameter, 10.5cm H.
