AN EGYPTIAN BRONZE FIGURE OF JACKAL-HEADED ANUBIS Late Period, Circa 664 - 332 B.C. The jackal-headed god is depicted seated, with fists resting on his lap and feet resting on an integral step, wearing a pleated kilt and a tripartite wig, with a long snout and large, alert ears, 14.1cm high, (16cm high inc. base) Published: Charles Ede, Small Sculpture from Ancient Egypt XX, no.15.
