AN ANTIQUE SILK PANDERMA PRAYER RUG, TURKEY, approx; 168cm. x 126cm. Lovely example for this type with very nicely drawn design more associated with Ghiordes type. Very good colour combination. This rug has slight wear to the top pile, down to knot collar. Few very small holes and small old repairs at the edge of one side. Selvages original. Ends with short original kilim, slightly fraying. In general this rug is in good usable condition. Despite the imperfections this rug is still very attractive and very good furnishing piece.
